Amy just relayed an update to me for Tammy. Tammy was alert and able to communicate using hand gestures this morning...even more than yesterday. Her top three topics: wanting water (which couldn't be fulfilled), where was Grace (still with Izzy's mom) and did we contact her law professors (of course we did, silly girl!).

The doctors are still monitoring the progress of her lungs healing. Tammy is still on the ventilator but they have removed the IV because her nutrition levels looked positive. Tammy's blood sugar levels are also being controlled really well. Good news there!

I've just received word that Tammy and Izzy's Christmas has been taken care of as well. Outstanding!!
